The Villages Hall along with The Dolphin, Bishampton Stores and our three churches represent the hub of our fantastic community.

The Villages Hall hosts a wide variety of events and activities to cater for all ages and interests. Some are organised by external providers, some by The Villages Hall committee and some by local clubs and societies. 

In addition to regular visits from professional touring groups we hold monthly ‘Movies in Bishampton’ nights. (2nd Friday, 7.00 for 7.30pm)

The Villages Hall is available for hire for parties, weddings, wakes, music events, training days and conferences.

The main hall/function room has a stage and can seat around 90 people at tables with an overall capacity of 150. There are 2 smaller committee rooms for groups of up to 12/18.

The hall has a well equipped kitchen, toilets, including an accessible toilet, a sound and lighting system and digital projection. There is also a piano. 

The Villages Hall committee can also provide a bar for your function.

Unfortunately due to new Government Covid-19 restrictions the Villages Hall will be closed until further notice.

Following guidance on and a temporary amendment in the ‘Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020’ our 2021 AGM will be held by Zoom.

You are invited to join our Annual General Meeting on
Monday 8th March 2021 at 5.00pm.

A few days before the meeting you will be forwarded an agenda, a link to join the meeting, copies of the minutes from the 2020 AGM, the Treasurer’s Report and the Chair’s Annual Report.

Residents of Bishampton, Abberton and Throckmorton who are on the electoral role will be able to vote on any proposals made at the AGM.
